1.17 mining helmet using glow squids

Hi, so just came up with an idea today which I think would make a great addition to the game.

The idea is a new type of mining helmet that makes use of the new copper material as well as giving a new and useless mob an actual use. In 1.17, even if copper cannot be used to make a full armor set, I thought that perhaps the game could get another 'special helmet', like the turtle shell already in the game. the helmet would include copper in its recipe (I assume ingots) and also a very special glowey dye (guess which mob drops it!). The combination would result in a glow helmet that isn't too modern for the game, and I think the colour combination would be really cool and aquaman-like. I assume the helmet would give a permanent night vision effect. if permanent night vision is a bit too game breaking then perhaps the effect could make use of fog or something to restrict vision of far distances, while also giving caves some more of that signature 1.17 eerie feel. Or perhaps the helmet could be recharged with more glowey dye.

I think this helmet should be added to the game because it would answer a lot of long lasting requests for player specific light sources (hand held torches giving light, mining helmets etc.), and since this update was built out of community requests, maybe it would be fitting to add this into the game too. Anyway, its up to the community and the devs to decide, thanks for reading! (I hope this idea was unique enough to post.).

    It is interesting idea. The problem with helding torches and probably mining helmets is the dinamic lighting. Also this is why glow squid won't probably glow... But getting effect of night vision is nice idea.

    And if Minecraft has a problem with you needing to kill the Glow squid to get that dye than maybe make the Glow Squid drop the dye when you give him from example Seaweed

    Man, i had that same diea XD. I think it should also need some glowstone (maybe even gloowstine blocks??) for the recipe so that players can't get the helmet at least until they go to the Nether.
