I thought since the new Netherite Armor and tools don’t burn in lava, there should be another type of armor/tools where those don’t fall into the void. But instead of being one of hundreds of other people suggesting End updates, I wanted to be original. So I came up with the idea of a Magnet Dimension.
To get to this dimension, you must first find an “Ender Stronghold” in the Outer End Islands. These have one room with a 2 by 2 portal in it.
Once you arrive in the dimension (on y-level 50-55), you can find black “crushed wood” spread on the ground. These can be crafted into 16 wood planks each. The world is made of mostly white stone, another form of cobblestone. The sky always looks grey and there is no bedrock on either side of the world.
You can find 2 ores here, Crushed Iron and Magnetite. Crushed Iron drops multiple iron nuggets unless mined with a Silk Touch pickaxe. It is found relatively commonly in any height of the world. Magnetite Ore (grey) is found in veins of 1, rarity 1 in 2100 blocks. It is found under Y-8 and it does not drop in the void, but the player can if they’re not careful. The only things that mine it successfully are a Netherite Efficiency 5 pickaxe or Magnetite Pickaxe. The ore does not have any magnetic effects besides it’s hardness.
You can craft one of this ore into 9 Magnet Carvings to make armor/tools, same way as diamond or iron, and they are 2.5 times better than their Netherite counterparts.
