Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

new rail type magnetic rails

what are magnetic rails?

magnetic rails are basically just powered rails but much much more powerful. they would be for end game players looking to upgrade their current rail networks these new rails would go a little faster than ice boats at around 70 blocks per second taking just 3 seconds to reach top velocity. they would be crafted by combining netherite and 64 of a new item called copper rails to make 64 magnetic rails. they would also get powered up to 30 blocks away from a power source

copper rails are like regular rails as they do not boost the player forward like powered rails, but instead they carry the redstone signal of the powered rails unlike regular rails wich will abruptly cut off a signal. 3 copper rails is the equivalent of the signal traveling across 1 powered rail

why minecraft needs better rails

minecraft rails have been neglected for a long time and have been outcompeted by other means of transport like boats horses and elytra despite taking the most time and effort to setup along with these new rails I think elytra and ice boat speeds should be nerfed and regular powered rails should be buffed

    Don't nerf the rails, they just need a way to actually attach minecarts (or have the minecarts push each other)  so that you can mass-transport items while at the same time transporting yourself.

    I never said i wanted normal rails nerfed in fact I think along with these changes the speed of rails should increase dramatically becoming the new fastest mode of transport.

    I think let players change the speed of rails by commands will be more flexible.
