When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

I think this is a cool idea, and I can't even think of all the traps I could make with this.  I also don't really understand why it would be useful for expanding redstone signals when you could just use a repeater.

I forgot that the repeater existed

Maybe instead have it so that when its powered it can power any redstone within a certain radius, or randomly flicks it on and off. Or perhaps some short circuiting effect

Actually I think I got another idea when powered by regular redstone it will create a small shoking radius that will attract to mobs and other redstone items. However if its connected by a copper wire to a lightning rod it will actually have the ability to beam the lightning in another direction. This could possibly be steered by insulators or by other nearby lightning rods it would be attracted to. Basically the lightning rod would receive lightning while the tesla coils will output it. If there aren't any lightning rods nearby then it may instead head to the nearest mob so long as its touching the ground. And if both multiple lightning rods or mobs are nearby it may split into smaller weaker versions of lightning to each of them. If it's in the water then I stead will get an area effect around it where it does damage withing a certain radius, when lightning powered the radius and damage increases for that short second.

Joseph Rahner also if their are no mobs around it will transfer the electricity to metallic blocks like the iron bar and if a player or a mob touches that electrified object they will get shocked. Also if redstone touches the electrified object it will be powered. The iron bar will be able to produce signals from multiple directions but will get weaker every redstone is added.

I have no idea why I said iron Bar instead of object at the end part their but you get what I mean

Another thing if the copper rod is next to the tesla coil and the rod is hit by lightning it will cause the tesla coils electricity to get stronger and shock at a greater range and another idea if a player touches a tesla coil with a metallic armor on that armor will be electrified so the player is forced to take it off but if the armor touches redstone it will give off a redstone signal. Btw the electrification caused by the tesla coil lasts for 30 seconds

I just realised the player can put tesla coil next to each other and basically create you walk near my house you will die but this can be fixed by if 2 tesla coils are next to each other both of those tesla Coils will focus their electricity to each other and if the player walks in it it will do 1.5 damage every second but if one of the tesla coils are broken the tesla coil that was not broken will shoot out electricity at a far range and based on how close the player is the more damage they take and mobs too ofcourse but I'm just gonna say player but also if the player puts a metallic object between the Tesla coils that metallic object will do 1.5 damage if touched and will make redstone signals last for a longer time. Also the tesla coils will only focus their electricity at each other if they are 4 blocks apart any further from that they will not focus their electricity.
