Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Add a fish tank

There were already some suggestions for this, but they weren't really fleshed out. So, here's my idea.

 

There should be a fish tank block added to Minecraft. It would be crafted by making a ring of glass, like a furnace, and putting a bucket of water in the middle. Once placed, you could place a fish inside by right-clicking it with a bucket of water containing a fish in your hand. When you've done that, it will show the fish swimming around inside the tank, and you could take it out by right-clicking it with a bucket of water in your hand. This would be a nice way to have a fish tank without having to make it take up a 3x3x3 area.

    Nice suggestion!

    I have just one feature to add:

    When they are placed next to each other they will connect, so the fish can swimm in a greater area

    Love it! I always have fish tanks that take up way too much space. What about sea turtles, dolphins and squids?

    It is a great idea. I was actually wanting to do this idea for a long time, but then I saw this one. I have a couple of things to add: Maybe when it's dark the fish tank could glow. I also think it would just make some Minecraft houses a little bit nicer :)
