Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Magnets and copper

Make netherite blocks or some other block crafted with netherite be magnets. Moving magnets across copper would generate electricity, something completely different to redstone. Electricity runs through copper and can maybe create magnetic fields when a loop is charged. Electricity could also be generated when someone crafts in a crafting table touch a copper wire or smelts on a furnace touching a copper wire. Creating a magnetic feels would use up electricity, so they wouldn’t last forever. Batteries could store electricity. Apart from that, do with this what you will.

    I don't think electricity should be added as redstone is kind of a medium for it already. I do think magnetic fields would be cool

    For magnets, I suggest magnets be crafted with arrows. Why? You would want to pull loot from a faraway mob when shooting it with magnetic arrows.

    Magnet blocks can also be used for moving platforms. Switching on and off magnets lets platforms move from one place to another respectively.
