The area is, on the edges, a rough ring of rocky hills that drop into sheer cliff face on the inside of the crater. The majority of the biome is a freshwater lake which does not attach to any river or other body of water. Below the interior cliffs, there are sparse areas where a grassy shoreline stands at water level, and on both these and the hills grow redwoods. Large islands will occasionally generate in the lake, as heavily forested as the exterior of the crater.
