Icy Caverns (Caves & Cliffs)

I have an idea for a new cave: It’s like some sort of ice cave found in the mountains, that can contain A new ore that generates in the ice, and maybe a snow creeper, that when blowing up, it summons a giant chunk of dry ice instead of blowing up. And maybe it can have a new form of a mine shaft in there, with more winter themed items and mobs.

    I love the cave idea but I don't think cave biomes should be depend on the biome above ground. And I'm all for a new creeper but a creeper that spawns blocks doesn't seem right. Maybe a creeper that can blow up stone as much as the original can blow up dirt.

    I love this idea but maybe instead of an ice cavern the caves would interconnect with oceans and icebregs

    For example maybe you could find an ice biome and below you find a huge ball of ice

    inside the ice caverns

    or better The blue stone cave

    yeah i know the names bad still working on it

    Maybe not specifically in a mountain, but farther underground as well. Ice caves of shimmering glory deep underground would be beautiful. Additionally they would help to bring more variety to the caves. Ice stalactites and stalagmites would also look excellent, though the should probably be thicker and made out of ice block, as a structure or as part of the caves generation. This would be GREAT. However, I don't know about an ice creeper, I feel that that wouldn't quite fit.

    I'm thinking these are just normal caves but made of ICE
