When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Copper transfer redstone signals

Minecraft java edition redstone can't be placed under water like the bedrock edition. I want to copper to be able to transfer redstone signals underwater as because the redstone in bedrock, will not break under water so if we something like that but with the new copper that will be added to minecraft I would love to see it able to transfer redstone signals like in real life transfer electricity. With that in mind I want to also see the lightning rod make redstone every time lightning hits it.

    Rather than making copper wire, I’d love to see copper blocks transmit signal in unique ways, ideally ways that change in signal strength depending on how oxidized the block is. For example: when a copper block is powered, any adjacent copper blocks are also powered. Waxed copper (bright orange) would transmit the exact signal to other blocks they receive. But each level of oxidization has -1 charge. So if block 1 receives 5 charge, a fully oxidized copper block would have signal power of 1.
