We, the Minecraft Community, are extremely excited for the new 1.17 Caves and Cliffs update! There was a lot to unpack, and one of them was the introduction of the new copper ore. It was also introduced that players can make lightning rods with the new ore. By attracting lightnings to the rod, people can safely build using burnable blocks such as wool and wood.
However, in my personal opinion after watching the preview, the lightning rod was too small. Is it possible for the players to customize the length of the rod? For example, by right-clicking the lightning rod with another rod, players can extend it to two blocks with a maximum of three blocks, and the extended rod will break if players were to break the bottom rod.
This gives the players more customization and creativeness on their builds. Perhaps they want to put a small lightning rod on top of their houses or make a long independent lightning rod outside their houses.
That concludes my suggestion. Can't wait to see what's in store next for this outstanding update!
