Foot Traps look like a variation of pressure plate, but you do not want to mistake them for one. When stepped on, Foot Traps will grab entities and hold the entity until they manage to break free. Breaking free is determined by how much any mob struggles. When grabbed, the entity will take some damage. The amount of damage taken and the amount of ‘struggling’ a mob will have to do is determined by the material the Foot Trap is made from. Foot Trap variants range from wood (5 second grasp and 5 second recharge), stone (7 second grasp and 5 second recharge), iron (10 second grasp and 4 second recharge), gold (10 second grasp and 3 second recharge), diamond (15 second grasp and 4 second recharge), and netherite (30 second grasp and 5 second recharge). Crafting recipe would have 3 wool on top, 3 stalagmite/stalactite pieces, and then interchangeable resource (wood, stone, etc.). Netherite Foot Traps would be ideal for trapping mobs like the Warden. This block could also emit a redstone signal when it grasps an entity.
