Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Copper Sword with Channeling

With the new copper ore, I think it would be amazing if you could create a copper sword or weapon, which has very VERY long durability but would not be very powerful, HOWEVER, if you had it out during a thunderstorm, lightning would strike it and it would receive channeling, making it much more powerful!

You could even have copper armor, or just copper boots, which could conduct/connect redstone signals when standing on it, but would be dangerous to wear during lighting storms, as you would be struck with lightning!

    I think a lightning sword would be cool but not in the same way as Channeling. It should have an electricity effect that causes mobs to flash with electricity (sort of like the charges creeper energy). It would work like flame on a sword but it would be able to damage fire resistant mobs like wither skeletons. It would also transform mobs that are effected by lightning strikes like villagers, pigs and creepers.
