Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Amethyst storage blocks on beacons produce beams only visible by telescope

Basically the Amethyst storage block would either be semi-transparent or function as if it were semi-transparent.

You place one down on a beacon, and it looks as if it's emitting nothing, but pull out your trusty telescope and you can see a vibrant beam of amethyst-hued light.

Useful for players who want to keep a low profile or possibly mapmaking.

    You could do so much with this. Imagine all the treasure maps with hidden clues!!!

    This is a great idea! Beacon beams are sometimes very difficult to integrate into bases, and they can spoil the view, especially if there are a lot of them.
