Yes! I think we definitely need at least one other deep dark biome mob, one that is smaller and should be able fit in a smaller hole, because the warden can easily be out-maneuvered if you just retreat into a hole or entryway smaller and it is tall. I imagine this mob having large ears like real-life bat ears and it being black or dark blue instead of gray as you said. Though I suppose it could have two or more color variations in dark grey and dark aqua.

This sounds so cool. I love everything about this except for the ability to see other skulks when it's in your offhand. I think the night-vision portion is awesome though.

I LOVE this idea! Seems very vanilla-y. I hope the devs see this!

Thanks for all the support! I'm excited about how close you are to my vote goal to add audio clips! I want to do something different with the Skulk eye though, You would eat it to gain night vision, but it wouldn't make you invisible in low light, as that is too OP with the high drop rate of the eyes. And as for being able to see the skulks in low light, that should just be an effect after eating the eye, or night vision would allow you to see them normally. I felt like the whole soul fire attraction would give people who have been to the Nether a way to avoid unwanted encounters with this mob, and because I thought it would be a funny quirk. The oldest comment asked why it was gray, and I don't think I did a good job at explaining the appearance, Think something like the bone devil in D&D 5e mixed with a velociraptor. I also didn't mention this, but if you want to rack my brain even more than I did making The Skulker, I will make a new mob suggestion if you can reach a vote goal of 25.

I like this idea! But the thing is, what about our deaf players? how will they be able to detect the mob if only detectable by sound? And if they are given the ability to break light sources, what about the naturally generated ores? They might destroy those too before the player can mine them. This is just a suggestion but, maybe they can occasionally radiate small and dim particles when they are invisible, to make it easier for those with hearing disabilities. But I really enjoy your overall idea! Very creative! Underrated man

I think they should be blind like the warden so that people can sneak past them because fighting them would make too much noise and the warden could hear you.
