It might be nice to be able to put that glowing dye on glass, wool, & banners.

SystemZee made a great mock up of glow ink being used to make the writing on signs glow, & splash potions of glow ink that temporarily leave a glow splatter on a block with a low level light output.

Quite frankly the glow ink on the signs are revolutionary, great for adventuring in the dark.

The splash potion would be awesome to get a quick view of the ceilings in caverns. Or even underwater :D

I feel like the glow dye should only be useable on things you can already dye in the game such as leather armor, signs, dog collars, sheeps, and wool.

I was thinking about his as well, but my idea was that the glow squids would drops glow light. You would be able to craft this to make it dye, but you could also use it in a smithing table with iron armor and make it glow light armor, like how netherite goes with diamond armor. It would also make the smithing tables a bit more useful.

Items that use in like signs, paintings, books etc.  Should have glowing variants.
