A Possible Improved Alternative to Archaeology Pots

I think that only being able to customize clay pots with ceramic shards is kind of limiting, and can only be used in specific ways of building. I propose that you should be able to place the ceramic shards in item frames the same way you place them on pots. This would allow you to make a sort of tapestry, which could be used in more places, and could be used to tell larger stories. They would work similar to the way maps work in item frames, because they would easily be place able side by side to create a bigger picture. I feel like this would really make the archaeology system more interesting, and would be certainly much easier than creating map art.
