Glow Squid colored lights

Now that glow squids are in the game, their main drop should be something like a glow sac. These glow sacs can be crafted with sea lanterns and a chosen dye to make colored sea lanterns which emit colored light. I was excited to see colored light in the RTX version but imagine an easily accessible vanilla version.

    Love the idea! Maybe it could be cool to have different colored Glow Squids aswell.

    I don't imagine colored lights will become a thing anytime soon in Minecraft Vanilla. . . 

    In order to create colored lights, they would have to recreate the whole lighting mechanic I think. I don't know much about this but from what i can recall, the current light programming would take A LOT of work to include colored lights. 

    Good idea though! You have my vote.

    what if you dyed the squid with colored dye and the glow squid changes colors.

    I have an idea that'll make this idea a bit more interesting: colored glow squids.

    Also, to answer Mason Thompson, redstone torches already exist.

    I agree, I think it would add a really awesome atmosphere to builds to have colored lighting and the glow squid would for sure be the best way to implement it! They already added soul flame, so why not more I suppose
