The lush caves are already extremely exciting and bursting with life, but I can't help but notice how the amount of flora in the cave greatly outweighs the amount of fauna, rendering it slightly lonely for such a life-filled biome. The amount of plants there would make it the perfect place for a grazing herbivore to settle down and grow large in numbers with a large amount of food to eat and one natural predator, the axolotl. If any of these curious grazers came to investigate the water, they would be met with n axolotl, dragging them underwater. This would implement an ecosystem into the lush caves creating an aura of life and really making the lush caves seem more tropical. I imagine these mobs would look quite insect-like with large, compound eyes like a fly, but every other feature is up to anyone to decide.
