I think copper is very underwhelming right now. We have plenty of light blue blocks, especially with the warped fungis. It looks pretty good as an orange building block though.

They also should allow us to fix the process on a certain stage, so its possible to have the orangy copper with blue speckles if we want, or a near full blue block with orange speckles

My idea on this was to have the glow squid drop something like "glow ink" which could be used to brew potions of polishing. These would then be made into splash potions and could be thrown on copper blocks (making it into polished copper), which cleans them if they are already rusted and make it so they won't deteriorate.

Yeah i hate it. If i wanted a green/blue roof, I’d use the prismarine blocks not copper. The decision to make copper oxidise naturally also goes against Jeb’s game design book where he states that ‘bad things happen, but they’re technically the players fault’. I’d consider copper oxidising a ‘bad thing’ and its not the player who causes the copper to oxidise, it’s a game mechanic, thus violating this ‘rule for minecraft’. Copper oxidising should be the players decision not the games decision, and i believe copper should exist in a form that can get oxidised and a form that cannot.
