In the Minecraft Live event that recently happened, bundles were released. These are sort of like shulker boxes, but they can only fit a stack of items. The cool thing is that this stack of items doesn't all have to be the same thing, they can be 64 different items. Also you dont place it down to take things in and out of it.
So, heres the Bundle Arrow. Using a bundle and an arrow, you can craft a bundle arrow, a shootable arrow through a bow or a crossbow. These arrows are not stackable because they are basically a shot bundle that can stick to walls like normal arrows. Let's say you are working with a friend, and they need 7 more Blocks of Diamond for your super bad but wealthy survival home. Instead of having to go all the way back down to the ground, climbing back up the scaffolding and coming back to where they were, there is the bundle arrow. You shoot the arrow at your friend, and if you miss it lands on the wall and doesn't despawn like a normal arrow. If you hit your friend, the bundle and the arrow could be broken and put into their available inventory slots. Obviously there is a lot of uses and changes this idea could recive, but I really think it could work with 1.17's theme of helpful to all players. This is because no matter what your doing, if you're in survival mode you are gonna need items.
Some uses:
An auto loader for mules and donkeys with chests. Just shoot them with the special arrow, doing no more damage then a snowball, and you've loaded them up!
Pranks!
