Quick Access for Bundles

I think an idea for the new bundles we saw at Minecraft Live would be to sort of incorporate them into our offhand. Here's what I mean:

The bundles can carry up to a stack of any items, which is a very nice feature. I think an even better idea would be the option to put one bundle (and only one) in a new slot, designed only to hold bundles. Doing this would see a bundle tied to the player's waist which would be a very cool visual. Whatever is in the bundle can be easily accessed in an interface to the side of the screen, or above the hotbar. You could have quick access to a stack of many things like potions and food, or building materials and resources.
