Northern Lights in Snow Biomes

It would be awesome if you could see northern lights in all kinds of snow biomes at night.

I think it would tie perfectly together with the upcoming cliff/snow update, and if the sky is updated due to the telescope I also think adding northern lights (and shooting stars) would be a perfect opportunity.

I'm not sure what practical function northern lights would have, other than being pretty!

Maybe you could capture the light in a bottle and light things up to prevent hostile mobs from spawning, or maybe you could fuse the light with the crystals that are coming in the Caves & Cliffs update and make them glow (unless they do already). Those were just a couple of ideas I had at the top of my head.

    The northern lights should be a rare occurrence so they won't just be boring after the first few times you see them. Maybe the rarity of the northern lights could be different in different biomes; cold biomes with snow naturally everywhere should have northern lights semi often and in biomes where it only snows in high altitudes like taiga and mountains they should be a more rare occurrence. There could also extremely rarely be northern lights in temperate biomes like plains and almost never in hotter biomes like deserts.

    I think they should have Northern Lights every like 20 days in minecraft.

    Super Idee. Da Nordlichter auch etwas mit Elektrizität zu tun haben, könnten sie aich mot dem Blitzableiter interagieren.
