Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

New Copper Rods and Lightning.

Copper rods are an amazing add-on to the game but doesn’t have much of a use. Lightning only spawns during its lightning rainstorms. So whenever lightning strikes, the fire created gets put out by rain. Fire spawned by lightning shouldn’t be automatically put out, but spreads slower due to rain. This will give a use to the copper rod as fire from lightning is invincible to rain. As well, copper rods should absorb lightning to create a redstone signal as electricity. The more lighting hits it, the more signal you get.
