Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Craftable Item from Glow Squid Drop: Glow Stick

This item would be similar to an end rod in shape, but would emit a lower light level, similar to a soul torch, also, the colour of the light would be a neon green like a real glow stick. Would be cool for creating a different feeling environment. Maybe the light could hypnotize intelligent mobs like skeletons and witches, causing them to temporarily freeze in place when entering light cast by the glow stick.

    I think they should be able to be placed in water so you don’t get lost in caves

    I think it should pose as a light source that makes no noises so you can just throw it and the warden can't hear it

    Add Slime ball to create sticky glow sticks to help light up the tops of the new cave generation
