Torches burning out in the deep dark (new cave biome)

With minecraft live, mojang announced a new cave biome: the deep dark. What I thought would be a great addition to this biome that’s meant to be dark and scary was torches burning out when placed in this biome. Not only is this a way to make it even more scary in the deep dark, it’s also a feature that was going to be implemented into the game years ago, and I think this is the perfect way to bring it back.

    It also makes sense thematically, since the low oxigen levels would make the torhces burn out faster down there.
