Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Way for copper blocks to not turn green

In the new caves&cliffs update there is going to be copper blocks which over time Will turn from orange to green.

This is an Amazing feature but i think that sometimes you also want to keep it orange or only half green. Please add a way by which you can lock the current state of the block.

Here are some ideas:

1. Protective coat: a coat that you can place an the block to protect it from further turning green. Made from glass, the new amethyst or something else...

2. A gamerule: Stopdetereotation

3. Wash them with water to clean them...

4. ??? You can choose...

Please add this because i wanted copper for such a long time and want to use it as an ORANGE building block.

I am a builder and i use blocks for designs and i dont want it to change. There should be blocks with Each level like anvils and a way to turn deterioration off.
