Glow Squid Functionality

Glow Squid: Spawns in: deep ocean and frozen ocean at y=40 and below rare spawn Drops: 4-7 xp, 0-2 flourescent pearls Uses: The pearls can be crafted with stained glass to create colored lights, which emit a light level of 14

    What if drowned is afraid of the glow squid? Or he seemed hypnotized and his gaze focused on the glow squid for a while.

    I was going to create my own post, however I do not want to risk it being taken down for being too similar to this. My functionality idea for the glow squid is luminescence. Using a bucket on a glow squid will collect it's luminescence and revert it to a regular squid (similar to shearing a mooshroom). The bucket of luminescence will act as a mobile light source in item form (similar to some torch mods). The catch is that the luminesence will eventually run out (indicated by a durability bar) and turn back into a water bucket. I think this would make a nice compromise for the players who request that torches emit light when carried or to add a mining helmet.

    Maybe you can use the fluorescent pearls to change the enchantment glint color of your gear?
