Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Pads

When I'm dying leather armor I get frustrated that theirs that one annoying part that stays the same color so here's pads. Pads would be obtained 2 ways 1 by placing leather armor in a crafting table or placing leather in a crafting table. Pads could be dyed and then added to leather armor. Removing pads would lower the armor points. I don't know how this would work but i think it would be cool for pants you could dye each pad a different color.
