Item Patterns/Textures

When playing Minecraft, there are a lot of essential things you have to wear or use in order to survive in different environments, such as wearing netherite or diamond armor when you are planning to go fight the Ender Dragon. The only problem is that a lot of times, the armor you wear or the tools you use aren't very stylish. I think there should be patterns that you can find (or craft) that can be applied to tools and armor in an anvil to really spice up your character. For example, Imagine having a netherite sword, but applying a texture to it to make it look like its made of magma, or making your diamond armor pink instead of blue. This is already a thing when it comes to dying leather armor, but I think it can go way further, especially for people who have beaten the game already. It would be challenging to have to search across the world for special textures that could only be found in underground chests, or deep within the ocean. They could then be applied to your favorite sword or pickaxe for that extra little pizazz to your character.
