Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Cinderblocks/Concrete Bricks

Say you wanted to have bricks with a consistent pattern around your house or make a concrete fence for your base. Concrete bricks would come in every color of concrete. They would take longer to mine and have a blast resistance twice that of cobblestone, sufficient to withstand creepers, as concrete is very strong in real life.

 

--Appearance--

Cinderblocks would look similar to stone bricks, but smoother and more like concrete.

 

--Recipe--

Concrete bricks would be a new building block made with 4 concrete (any color) and 2 iron bars in the middle. The iron bars come from steel bars being used in real life concrete construction, and iron bars are one of the closest minecraft items to steel bars. 

Example below: 

The recipe would give 2 cinderblocks/concrete bricks.

    As you put iron bars in concrete maybe the blast resistance should also increase a bit?
