Left and right click scoreboards

minecraft.custom:minecraft.right_click

minecraft.custom:minecraft.left_click

 

These two scoreboards would allow data pack and map creators to detect right and left clicks without the player needing to select a certain item. Currently, the only way to do this involves villagers but is very messy in multiplayer and inhibits the player from breaking or placing blocks.

    This would be so useful so we don't have to use ridiculous workarounds. I play on bedrock mainly so any scoreboard objectives would be great!

    These might be slightly better in case players have use & attack bind to other characters or are using a controller:

    minecraft.custom:minecraft.button_use

    minecraft.custom:minecraft.button_attack

    minecraft.custom:minecraft.interact
    These would be more consistent with the newest interaction entity.

    I feel like the need to note that the current interaction entity cannot substitute such scoreboard criteria.

    This request is still valid and should receive more attention.
