Why this enchant?: I've always had this idea for a new bow enchant, where your arrows would curve towards the target. This would allow less skilled players to pick up the bow as a weapon and train themselves!
This is not heat seeking! Arrows will not follow targets!
How it works:
- The enchant will curve the arrow ever so slightly towards the target.
- The higher the level, the more it turns.
- At higher levels it might be able to curve around corners slightly.
- An arrow's damage would be decreased slightly.
- Arrows would gain a purple glint and particle effect.
How does it know what to hit?:
- It hits the nearest mob to your aimed location.
- It has a priority system; where it chooses hostile mobs over passive mobs.
- If there are no hostile mobs it will choose the nearest passive mob.
So, if you were to shoot at a zombie, and your dog was off to the side, it would choose the zombie even if the dog was closer. This enchant would also help with hitting small entities.
