XP death balance

I don't think it's fair how when you die no matter what level you are at you go all the way to level seven. i get that there has to be a risk when you die and you aren't in hardcore, but i think that if you are at level 30 or above you should only lose 1/4 of your levels.

    I understand where you are coming from, but something like this is not a game changer in most situations. Levels are easily re-acquired in the process of regaining everything you lost or by smelting blocks or fishing. They are a resource by which you purchase upgrades more than a leveling mechanic maintaining advancement. It's a minor inconvenience.
