crouch fall

when you are falling before you hit the ground if you time crouching when hitting the ground you "absorb" the fall and take less damage.

    Even if it simply adds one or two meters to your fall distance, I would be more than happy! Nothing is more annoying than falling four blocks and taking fall damage on myself or my armor. It's ONE block more than three, can't we crouch at the right time and get away with it?

    I once tried it before looking at this article and i jumped like 10 or 9 blocks and didn't take any fall damage

    I agree, this should be a feature. I think there was some kind of mandela effect where I always thought you could take slightly less damage when crouching from fall damage.
