Support for Macbook Pro touch bar as hotbar

I currently play Minecraft on a Macbook Pro, and in my keyboard there is a touch bar at the top. As you go into different, even third party, windows, it is repurposed to be useful for that app. For example, when I open google chrome, the bar allows me to undo, redo, star the webpage, add a new page, or type a new URL. My idea is that when you are playing Minecraft, the touch bar shows your hotbar. I don't know anything about coding, or how to code the touch bar, but I think that This would be a cool idea.

    Great Idea! you should be able to tap the items in your touch bar on the mac!

    Best idea i have ever heard as a suggestion to minecraft. Since it implements support for something that exists outside the game rather then a mob or such.
