slime fungi(it eat trees) 

The slime fungi would be "fungi" with the appearance of vines, which would be in the wooden blocks, they would appear due to the presence of mycelium blocks or mushroom cows, the slime fungi would have the possibility of growing, or dying, it would be more They are likely to die than to grow, but if they grew a lot they could consume wood blocks turning them into slime mold, which would eat up all the adjacent wood blocks very quickly and take longer to die, but the slime fungus would have to go through many phases of growth to become a block, so it would be more difficult to appear than to have a brown mushroom cow.

    Most new challenges should have an upside too.  I saw a video recently, for instance, where someone modded termites.  Termites ate wood but occasionally dropped whole block (for a very slow wood farm) and otherwise dropped sawdust, which could, I think, fertilize some crops.  You might want to add a mechanic like that to this.
