Leather Armor Should Make You Stealthier

Virtually everyone crafts/uses gold, iron, diamond, and netherite armor for different reasons, but leather armor is virtually only desirable if you want team colors for a minigame, so considering how hard it is to make I think it should have a unique advantage.

My personal logic is that leather armor would supposedly dampen the sounds of your movement and make you blend in with the terrain more to mobs, increasing the range you can go undetected by mobs by a certain percentage similarly to the invisibility potion but perhaps less strong. It also plays into common game logic that leather is for stealthy characters, making it even more fitting.

I think leather armour should give electric damage resistance (however that's not very useful in Minecraft) so maybe added fire resistance, the leather would protect your skin and absorb the heat but a full set of iron would just cook you realistically. I'd also make leather easier to craft, perhaps one leather could be turned into four leather strips which would be used to make armour and all cows should drop at least one leather but make cows more powerful to compensate, more health and can head-but you away.
