Use Fire Charges for Fuel

Fire charges are made with coal/charcoal, which is a burnable items. It is also made with blaze powder, and blaze rods are also burnable.

I think it should burn for maybe 100 seconds, which is in-between coal for 80 seconds, and blaze rods for 120 seconds. It would give fire charges more uses, since they can only be used to light portals and create firework stars, which barely anyone uses.

It would also be a new length of time for smelting (100 seconds / 2000 ticks), giving more variety and options to smelting.

    That would be turning an effective 140 seconds into 300 seconds, though, since you get 3 fire charges from one coal (80 seconds) and one blaze powder (which you get two of from the 120 second blaze rod).

    Then it should be 46.66 seconds per fire charge. Problem solved!

    Ziad El-Moursy rounding up to 50 would be fine too. I just meant to point out out the extreme jump in fuel efficiency.

    Better if it was 75~ seconds per fire charge. That will make fire charges a good nether fuel and will be more valuable than smeltable ingredients with gunpowder
