They have already said that they will not be adding Nether boats since Striders do the same thing. Otherwise, I really like your ideas and I agree with them.

I actually came up with a Fire Sight potion and a magma serpent that I think would be nice additions to the game. You have my vote.

Great idea except for the boats. I feel like with striders, there's no need for boats that just do the same thing.

Striders aren't the same as boats. You can't craft a strider on the spot, or carry it in your inventory. They have to be found, and then you need a saddle and a fungus on a stick.

I don't know everything about Striders, but can they walk in all depths of lava? Or are their legs only so long? A boat would be able to go on lava of any depth.

Striders only carry 1 passenger. A boat carries 2. Lava boats would let you easily bring a mob, such as a villager or any other mob you were needing to transport, across lava oceans. How do you get a villager across a lava ocean with Striders? I don't think you can even get a villager on a strider.

They should add Burnacles, which would be like sea pickles except they resemble little volcanos

I think that they should just entirely update the appearance of lava and make it more see through, especially when you're under surface, rather than having a tool to craft
