Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Bells Should Prevent Mob Spawning

Bells are a relatively rare item that can only be obtained from villages and bought from villagers for a pretty hefty price. Since they are found in villages, maybe they should keep the villagers safe by preventing mobs from spawning in a radius of 16 or even 32 blocks? That would be very useful for building

    I really would love this mechanic since then I could have safe builds and areas with the atmosphere I want.

    I would love to have dark areas that don't constantly spawn mobs
