More mob heads and better effects, but at a higher cost. Each head should give an effect. Here are some thoughts. The base version is listed first, the improved version is second. To get the improved version you need to combine it with a nether star. Active powers are controlled by one button (whatever is easiest). They always give you the sound, and have previous effects.
Cow- You negate negative effects as if drinking milk, 2 min. cooldown
Horse- Let's you sprint as fast as the horse you got it from but you go through hunger 3x as fast
Zombie- once per game night you can groan and summon a horde of zombies to fight on your side. They will try to stay near you but give you a little space. If they have helmets they can survive daylight, but stop following you (but remain neutral)... for when you just want random non-hostile zombies.
Skeleton- Wolves will follow you.: You can fire arrows for 1 minute without using up arrows or bow durability, two minute cool down
Creeper- You take half damage from creeper blasts. :Creepers don't blow up near you. They may still follow, which could be a fun way to kite creepers.
Charged Creeper- You take 75% less damage from creeper blasts.: Creepers don't blow up near you and once per game day you can blow up (no damage to you) as per a charged creeper.
Player- You can show their nametag, but a random generator changes a couple letters but your head spins every few seconds
Pig-Find new item- trufle
Pumpkin- no field of vision restrictions
