Cat scaring for creepers

Creepers have to come quite close to be scared by a cat and if you are just a few blocks ahead of your cat, you are still left with an explosion to clear up.

    I've had even worse things happen like the multiple times my cats are around me a creeper walks up completely uncaring that said several cats are around and instead deciding to blow up and kill my cats.

    The whole cats scaring creepers haven't worked that well for years I feel. It's been a very long time since they've actually scared them properly they need a boost to the scaring range or at least enough hearts to survive a creeper blast <:(
