nether trees bonemealed into a + shape

so id like to be able to bonemeal nether trees to grow in this shape + they grow in the wild like that so i feel like if u put 5 crimson or warped fungi like + then the tree should grow in that pattern it would work like jungle trees it makes sense to me id like to know what u guys think.
