Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Reinforced blaze rod tools

With the addition of a use for the smithing tables in the form of netherite items, I think that we should also be able to reinforce our tools by combining them with blaze rods within the smithing table, giving the tools the handle of a blaze rod rather than a stick. Not only would this look cool, it would provide another use for both blaze rods and the smithing table, which frankly don’t do very many useful things. Uses for blaze rod tools could consist of: faster mining speed, slightly higher durability, faster attack speed, and half a heart higher damage.

    If Blaze Rods were able to be used in place of sticks for crafting tools and weapons, I think it should grant the tool/weapon with handle (Not bows) Fire Aspect I and +1 Damage automatically without enchanting it (Much like how Netherite Armor has +1 Knockback Resistance without application of any enchantments).

     

    This could provide tools with a bit more of an edge incase you aren't fast enough to switch to your weapon to deal with a mob and need to hit them with a tool to get them to backup, and can really enhance a sword, as a Fully enchanted Netherite Sword this way if it has Sharpness V then can deal +15 damage and have the equivilant of Fire Aspect III
