Make Fire More Destructive

It would be nice for fire to be more destructive. Just like in reality, fire in Minecraft would consume wood, as it already does, as well as trapdoors, doors, beds, chests, bookshelves, carpet and all plant life except coral, and would shatter glass, as well as damage bricks, should you consider this idea.

    Heck, why not? People aren't going to make fireplaces in their houses with regular fire and netherrack anymore since the addition of campfires. This would turn fire into a much better weapon in fort combat. Perhaps there could also be "fireproof" blocks that would resist damage from fire, that could be strategically implemented to mitigate its effects. Also, maybe there chould be an "suffocating" effect from prolonged exposure to smoke.
