Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Wagons!!!

A wagon you can attach to your horse! Like a chest, it can carry a hefty amount of items for long journeys across the map.

    Just take a mule or donkey and give him a chest filled with shulker chests... This should do th job

    Maybe there could be 2 different kinds of wagons; a small one you can pull yourself, and a larger one for a pack animal to pull. The capacity could be like a single chest for yourself, and a double chest for the horse/donkey/mule/llama.

    Agreed that there should be multiple levels of this concept.

    1. Wheelbarrow.  Used for hauling raw materials including dirt, tree bark, sand, stone, ores, etc.  Craft using a chest minecart, sticks and an axle (wheels plus a stick) (holds one small chest)

    2. Wagon - can put one large chest in it and move it around like a boat. Craft using two wheelbarrows.

    3. Cart. - craft two wagons to make a cart.  Can attach to a horse and hold two large chests. 

    3. Covered wagon. Craft using carts, wood, a bed, a crafting table, and wool of your color.  This becomes a mobile home of sorts, with two chests, a crafting table and a bed inside.  The land version of the large boats MC is considering.

    This could also be helpful with the transportation of mobs and villagers, that way you aren't having to boat or minecart a single one

    Also, making a specially built wagon to transport animals, villagers, and mobs or a small handcart with a single chest inventory  that can be pulled by the player and set down with a single button click. Wagons would be an alternative to minecarts with significantly less iron usage as railways would be unnecessary and would be able to go uphill easily. Wagons/handcarts should also travel easily when moving over a path and slowly take damage if there is no path.

    In addition to a horse, a wagon could attach to a llama, goat, or cow and the movement speed is dependent on the animal (in increasing speed order: goat, cow/mule, llama/donkey, horse).

    And maybe there’s should be abandoned wagons around the map that contains loot cheats and only way to get a a wagon

    In addition to a wagon, maybe village roads can be widened by two blocks to accommodate wagons moving through. Maybe even have another kind of trader with a wagon that will come into a village every morning and set up shop at a market. This trader specifically would be exclusive to villages.
