Piglins, Piglin brutes and hoglins should be immune to fire

It would make much more sense since their home is the nether, and bastions most likely contain lava, they should not burn in fire and lava.

    I think they are not immune to fire because they originally came threw the ruined portals. They partially adapted to the nether but have not evolved to the point of fire resistance. That is why they have potions of fire resistance that they might give you for gold.

    maybe the brutes could be immune to fire and lava but not soul fire and hoglins and piglins are just immune to fire

    Maybe instead like witches, they drink fire resistance potions while in lava or throw splash potions at hoglins, and other piglins while in lava. Brutes automatically should be immune to fire and lava.
