Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

glowmetal. A new ore

Glowmetal would be as rare as lapis and illuminates the area around it. glowmetal armour and blocks (glowmetal ore and glowmetal blocks) glow. The tools and armour would be in between diamond and iron (strength, durability and protection). Glowing armour does not affect mob spawning since mobs cannot spawn near you.
