Monster/player head lampshades for end rods?

I've been watching some building videos and I've been thinking lately, what if you could use monster/player heads as lampshades for end rods? I'm aware you can place heads on top of them, but making them directly compatible, like an armor stand, for example could give off a much more desirable and compact homely look, maybe the eyes glow, or add a pot to the bottom.
