Wii U updating

Please sir, I know you get a lot of suggestions, but I love Minecraft and the only way I can play it is on Wii U. I would love nothing more than to be able to play the same version as all my other friends. Please

  Sorry but this definitely won’t be happening. They ended legacy console support a few years ago.

  Minecraft Wii U edition won't get the newest updates, if it were to get an update, it would be more likely to add cross play between the legacy console editions, and Wii remote compatibility,

  Its too bad that when they changed console to bedrock edition, they left consoles like the Wii U in the dust. I think at least they should port bedrock to wii u as it is technically the same generation as the switch (8th Gen.) I get that the limited hardware, shutdown of the eshop and online servers are definitely obstacles, but there are workarounds to fix this.
